Welcome to Ruthrieston West Church

Rev Dr Benjamin Byun extends a very warm

welcome to you to come and worship at

Ruthrieston West Church.

Sunday Services are at 10:00am.

Ruthrieston West Church is part of the Church of Scotland.  It is a parish church, rooted in the heart of the local community since 1872.   The church was linked with Garthdee Parish Church in 2008.

The church is situated in a pleasant residential area about two miles from the city centre and has good public transport links to the city and the nearby Robert Gordon's University.

There is a welcoming and friendly atmosphere and members of the church are actively involved in the local community in a variety of ways.

As a Christian Church we strive to offer worship that is varied, relevant and meaningful along with the opportunity for learning more about the Christian faith and exploring our experience and relationship with God.

This web site is being updated and will shortly contain more details about the church and the many and varied activities going on in the church.

If you have any information that you would like to see here, then please 'Contact Us'.

Many outside organisations also use the church halls. If you would like to use the halls, please 'Contact Us' for more information.

You are very welcome come and worship with us

BUILDING NOTICES:

Work is going to recommence on the Church, mainly around the tower area, from Monday 29th August, and will involve the builders using a motorised work platform.  the following week scaffolding will be erected at on the east wall of the large hall and small hall and roof repairs and pointing will be carried out.

Access to the halls will be maintained through the scaffolding.

The VSA premises next door are being extended and so the lane has been closed  for safety reasons.  The works are scheduled to last for 30 weeks. (It is unsure whether or not the lane will be closed for the whole of that period).  Therefore extra time will be needed to find a parking space (which may be some distance from the church.)

Please remember to be considerate when parking in the adjoining roadways and be especially careful not to block residential driveways etc - we want to stay on good terms with our neighbours :)
